End User Licence Agreement

1. Licence grant

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the ¡Vamos! web application and its learning content (lessons, exercises, audio, guides and software, together the "App") for your own private, non-commercial language learning, while your account is active and you comply with this EULA and the Terms of Service.

2. Restrictions

Except as permitted by law, you may not:

  • Copy, redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense or publicly display the App or its content.
  • Modify or create derivative works of the App or lesson content.
  • Reverse-engineer or decompile the App, except where mandatory law allows it.
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices.
  • Use the App to build or train a competing product or dataset.
  • Share your account or access credentials.

3. Ownership

The App and all content within it (excluding your own submissions) are owned by the operator of ¡Vamos! or its licensors. This EULA grants a licence only; no ownership transfers to you.

4. Third-party components

The App includes open-source components licensed under their own terms, and third-party services used under their providers' terms — currently Google AI Studio (Gemini) for text generation, Microsoft Azure AI Speech for transcription and pronunciation scoring, and ElevenLabs for text-to-speech, with your device's built-in voice as a fallback. Those terms apply to the respective components and services, and we may replace a provider with an equivalent one.

5. Updates

The App may update automatically as we ship improvements. This EULA applies to updates unless an update comes with its own licence terms.

6. Warranty disclaimer and liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. The liability limits in the Terms of Service apply equally to this EULA. Nothing here reduces your statutory consumer rights.

7. Termination

This licence ends automatically if you breach it or the Terms of Service, or when your account is deleted or the service is discontinued. On termination you must stop using the App; sections on ownership, restrictions and liability survive.

8. Governing law

This EULA is governed by Norwegian law, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Contact: support@vamosespanol.com.
